Lake Norman is 25 miles North of Charlotte and has 520 miles of shoreline. After the completion of I-77 in the mid-seventies, the Lake Norman area, which includes the towns of Cornelius, Huntersville and Davidson, has blossomed. As happens with rapid growth properties, and especially lake areas, infrastructure must receive top priority, while keeping in mind the quality of life of current and future residents. The Western side of Lake Norman has recently begun to see substantial growth, with particular appeal to residents who are looking for lakefront properties with lower price tags, good schools, a more laid-back small-town lifestyle, while still within commuting range to Uptown, Mooresville, Lake Norman and the University area.
